A collaborative performance with Annie Rush (concept, costume design/fabrication, audio recording and formatting by Annie Rush). Edge of the Mirror was a muse on personal feelings of failure and inadequacy. Annie and I worked individually on writing/recording our thoughts as well as having an in-person conversation, all of which comes together in the final audio recording that accompanied the performance. Wearing matching hand-made leotards and mirror masks, we were unidentifiable to the audience. We used scissors and paint in a dance of nurture and destruction throughout the length of the sound piece.
